Quatre Duo
How to play
A local four-in-a-row game for two people on iPhone Duo.
Take a side
Quatre Duo requires iPhone Duo with iOS 27.1 or later. Fold it to approximately 90 degrees and place it on a stable table. Coral plays on the upright inner display; Amber plays on the outer display. The two views show one shared board with mirrored columns.
Tap a column to drop a piece, or slide across the board to aim and release over your chosen column. Connect four horizontally, vertically or diagonally. A full column cannot accept another piece.
Play again
After a win or draw, choose Again. The other player starts the next round and scores carry on. To clear the board and scores, open the options menu, choose New match and confirm.
Your game saves automatically on your device. An accepted move remains played if the app is interrupted during its animation. Use the options menu to turn sound on or off.
Connect the displays
Allow camera access when prompted. Apple’s public feature for simultaneous inner/outer presentation requires a running camera session. Quatre Duo does not record, save, analyze or share camera images and does not use the microphone.
If access was denied, open Settings, find Quatre Duo and allow Camera. If access is restricted by device management or parental controls, the person managing that policy must change it.
If the displays disconnect, keep Duo partly open and follow the app’s reconnect prompt. Close other apps using the camera if necessary. The saved board remains on the device; iOS controls whether both displays are available.
