Have an export. Need it back in Health?

Our step-by-step guide takes you from the Health app’s export ZIP to reviewing your restored records. It also explains what cannot be restored and how to check for overlapping history before you start.

You need the original export: Restore cannot recover data missing from it or extract an iCloud or device backup.

Apple doesn’t let apps write some types back to Health, such as Activity Summary, Exercise Minutes, Stand Hours, heart rate notifications and clinical records. ECG recordings are skipped too. See everything that can’t be restored.

Restore scans the archive and coordinates HealthKit writes on your iPhone. The ZIP is created with the Apple Health app's Export All Health Data action. Arctic Studios does not receive your export or health records. Restore 1.0.4 uses automatic app analytics while preserving earlier opt-outs. Health data, exports and filenames are never sent. Do I pay for every restore?

No. Full Restore is a single purchase you can reuse. After reinstalling or changing iPhones, use the same Apple Account and choose Settings → Restore Purchases in the app.

If a scan, purchase, restore, or deletion does not behave as expected, contact Arctic Studios directly.
